Southwest Florida Is Among Fastest Growing
Southwest Florida is among Fastest Growing Metro Areas in America. According to data released this week by U.S. Census Bureau, Florida continues to dominate among national studies of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in America. For the third year in a row, The Villages (a metro area west of Orlando) was distinguished as the nations fastest-growing, having seen a 4.3 percent increase in population from 2014 to 2015. Yet, beyond Central Florida, communities of Southwest Florida outpaced all other states. The metro areas of Cape Coral-Fort Myers, Naples-Immokalee-Marco Island, as well as Punta Gorda and North Port, all figured among the nation’s top twenty of fastest-growing metro areas. Texas and South Carolina communities were among others recognized by The Bureau.
Data suggests Southwest Florida will continue to see increased demand from home buyers hoping to secure their piece of the paradise which exists here. Some of us may remember those days when everything got quiet “after season,” but many visitors are now deciding to stay, and who can blame them? Beautiful beaches, excellent shopping & dining, great healthcare, outstanding golf and other recreational fun in fishing, tennis and you-name-it, not to mention the friendly people, there’s really no wonder as to why Southwest Florida continues to shine as one of the fastest growing areas in America.
